General Description

The Antica Locanda is located in Pienza in the lovely Valle D'orcia in a recently renovated XV century building, a former residence of the Papal Secretary.

The inn has held intact the rich fascination of this historic building and is equipped with every modern comfort, making it an ideal place for a vacation of rest and relaxation in the beautiful Tuscan countryside. It is also a convenient location from which to travel to Siena, Florence, Montepulciano, Chianciano, Lake Trasimeno, the Lake of Bolsena and Monte Amiata.

Guests are welcomed into an elegant and relaxing atmosphere in spacious rooms with exposed beam ceilings and typical antique Tuscan furnishings.

From the A1 Autostrada del Sole motorway, take the Chiusi - Chainciano Terme or the Valdichiana exit and head towards Chianciano, Torrita di Siena and Pienza.

From the SS2 Cassia state road coming from Siena, exit at San Quirico D'Orcia. Continue along the SS146 state road towards Pienza.
