General Description of the Hotel

Hotel Rivoli is an excellent, superior 4-star hotel, which welcomes guests in a charming atmosphere, enhanced by elegant public areas that help to create the atmosphere of a historic city residence. It is ideally located in the centre of Florence, close to Santa Maria Novella Central Station, the basilica of the same name, the city’s most important museums and monuments and the exhibition and conference centre.

The Patio is a lovely square full of flowers, paved in traditional Florentine terracotta and surrounded by pastel coloured walls and the room’s sunny terraces. A large whirlpool bath with heated water is open all year round; the private garden, full of sweet-smelling climbers and shaded by an age-old cypress tree, a symbol of the Tuscan countryside, makes a perfect reading area.

Description of Bar/Restaurant Facilities
Breakfast starts the day in an elegant room with a cross vault ceiling supported by columns and capitals, all original 14th-century features. An extensive breakfast buffet is served each morning and will satisfy even the most selective clients: a wide choice of sweet and savoury food, all served with delicious espresso coffee and a friendly smile that also accompanies refreshing drinks served in the Garden Bar.
Description of Conference and Meeting Facilities
The hotel has 6 elegant and convenient meeting rooms that open out onto the cloister and the garden where coffee breaks, cocktails, lunches and dinners can be served in the summer.
Direction and Transportation
By car
Take the A1 motorway to the Firenze – Scandicci exit; proceed towards Centro Città. Follow the signs for Ponte alla Vittoria, cross the river and continue following the signs for Stazione. Upon reaching Piazza della Stazione, with the station on your left, turn right onto Via Santa Caterina da Siena, and then left again onto Via della Scala. The Hotel Rivoli is located 100 metres further ahead on the right.
By train
The hotel is within an easy walk of Florence Santa Maria Novella Central Station. Turn right out of the station, then continue along Via Santa Caterina da Siena and turn left at the traffic light onto Via della Scala. The Hotel Rivoli is on the right after 100 metres, just before Piazza di Santa Maria Novella.
By plane
From Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport, just 5km from the city centre and the hotel, take the number 62 bus.
