The tidal pool was not really part of the hotel and seemed very expensive. The hotel was attractive and comfortable but also expensive.
General Description
Grand Hotel dei Castelli is located in an 18th-century castle in Sestri Levante, on a strip of land that separates the Bay of Silence from the Bay of Fairy Tales.
The accommodation, surrounded by parkland, is composed of two three-storey buildings with various types of rooms that will satisfy every need.
The hotel has a restaurant serving local and international cuisine that is renowned for its extensive wine cellar. The Grand Hotel dei Castelli has its own “natural pool” and a bathing establishment on the rocks that guests can use at an extra cost. The large private car park is very convenient for guests arriving by car. Two private lifts take guests down to the port, the old town and the pool.

By train
From Sestri Levante train station, take Viale Roma, turn left into Viale Giuseppe Mazzini and take the first exit off the roundabout in Piazza Sant'Antonio. Proceed along Viale 20 Settembre, turn left into Piazza Francesco Bo, proceed along Viale Rimembranza, turn left into Piazza Giacomo Matteotti and then proceed to Via Penisola, where you will find the hotel.
By air
From Genoa "Cristoforo Colombo" airport, take the A7 motorway towards “Livorno - Genova Est”. Then take the A12 motorway, go past Recco, Rapallo and Chiavari and leave at the exit for Sestri Levante.
