Take the A1 Milan – Naples motorway (The “Sole” Motorway) until Naples. Then take the A3 Salerno - Reggio Calabria motorway, and exit at Castellammare di Stabia. Continue alone the SS145 State Road for Meta di Sorrento, and successively along the SS163 State Road for Positano.
By train
The recommended train station is that of the Naples Central Station in Piazza Garibaldi; connect to Sorrento by means of the "Circumvesuviana" railway service. The “Sita” bus service direct to Positano is located in the small piazza below the station.
