By boat

The island of Vulcano can be reached all year by hydrofoil boats and ferryboats from several different ports:
- From Milazzo with the ferryboats run by Siremar, N.G.I. and by Ustica lines.
- From Reggio Calabria and Messina take the USTICA lines hydrofoil boats all year (two trips daily during the winter, more in the summer).
- From Naples the Siremar boats are available all year (with two trips weekly in the winter and up to six in the summer), as well as the USTICA lines or SNAV hydrofoil boats available in the summer with one or two trips daily.
- From Palermo and Cefalù take the USTICA lines hydrofoil boat in the summer, with one or two trips daily. During the winter, there are three trips a week.

Guests are advised to board at the port of Milazzo (the closest port where hydrofoil boats and ferryboats are available). The hydrofoil boat trips are frequent and run on a regular schedule. The hydrofoil boat trip is 45 minutes and the ferryboat is around 90 minutes.
Guests can book transportation service to and from the port of Milazzo for a cost of € 25 per person each way.

By train

The local railway station is Milazzo Station.

By plane

- From Stretto di Reggio Calabria Airport, buses are available to Messina. From Messina take the USTICA lines hydrofoil boat to Vulcano.
- From Catania – Fontanarossa International Airport, a Giunta Bus shuttle service is available from June to September to the port of Milazzo operated by the Siremar and Ustica Lines companies.
The hotel also offers a transportation service.

No cancellation penalties will be charged if notification is given at least 2 days prior to arrival.
In case of cancellations made after this date or no-shows, the first night will be charged to the credit card provided.
No advance payment required; this room will be paid for directly at the hotel.
