How to reach Pensione Matilde
By car
Take the A1 Autostrada del Sole motorway to the Firenze Nord exit; follow the directions for Centro Città / Stazione Santa Maria Novella, turn onto Viali di Circonvallazione and head towards Fortezza da Basso. Upon reaching the Fortezza, take Viale Spartaco Lavagnini towards Piazza della Libertà, then turn right at the first intersection with a traffic light onto Via Santa Caterina D'Alessandria. Cross Piazza Indipendenza and head along Via Nazionale for around 500m. The hotel is located after the intersection at street number 17 Blu.
By train
The hotel is just a 5 minute walk from Florence Santa Maria Novella Station.
Exit on the left-hand side of the station, cross Piazza della Stazione and turn onto Via Nazionale; continue for around 150m until street number 17 Blu.
By plane
From Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport, take the Vola In Bus shuttle to Florence Santa Maria Novella Station.
