The hotel has 34 Junior Suites and can accommodate a total of 76 guests. It is very well cared for, particularly in the style of décor and is enriched with high quality accessories.

Spacious and comfortable, the guest rooms have air conditioning, a safety deposit box, satellite colour television, a minibar, ADSL internet access and an en suite bathroom with a bathtub.

Description of Conference and Meeting Facilities

Our business facilities consist of 2 multi-purpose rooms with state of the art technology to ensure the success of any event.

Sala Ortega can comfortably accommodate up to 50 people and has broadband internet access, a video projector, video conference facilities, microphones and a sound system.
Sala del Campo can comfortably accommodate up to 250 guests with an auditorium layout, and is an ideal place to hold any type of meeting or conference.

By car

- Take the A14 Adriatica Bologna – Taranto motorway to the Bari Nord exit. Follow the directions for Altamura – Matera along the SS99 state road.

- Take the A3 Salerno – Reggio Calabria motorway to the Sicignano degli Alburni exit. Head towards Potenza, then to Metaponto along the SS407 Basentana state road. Follow the directions for Matera.

- Take the SS106 state road towards Metaponto; follow the directions for Matera.

The hotel is located at the entrance to Matera Nord (1.5km away from the historic centre), and can easily be reached along one of the main roads of the city (Via Dante).

By train

The national railway lines do not go directly to Matera. The best alternative is to go to one of the nearby stations, Ferrandina Scalo (35km away) or Bari (66km away).
- From Ferrandina Scalo station, take one of the Ferrovia Apulo Lucana (FAL) railway lines.
- From Bari station, take one of the Ferrovia Apulo Lucana (FAL) railway lines.

By bus

The Marino bus lines connect Matera to Milan, Ancona, Bologna, Chianciano, Fiuggi, Naples, Novara, Parma, Reggio Emilia, Sassuolo and Urbino, as well as to several cities outside of Italy.
The Marozzi and Liscio bus lines connect the city to Rome, Florence, Pisa and Siena with two trips daily and one at night.

The local airport is Bari – Palese airport, around 60km away from the hotel.
