We were delighted with our room and the beautiful setting of the Villa Eleonora.The hospitality of our hosts was another positive feature of our stay. They were always available and extremely helpful. Our only minor inconvenience was the difficulty in accessing the internet due to unreliable wireless access. Proximity to the town of Tropea, for tourists by car, was the main reason for our choice initially. Car parking was not a problem in Parghelia, as it would have been in Tropea. We were easily able to access Tropea, either on foot or by car, while still enjoying the peace and seclusion of Villa Eleonora, without the hassle of finding a secure place to leave the car. The breakfasts provided were exceptional - served at your room, at your convenience, and the variety, freshness of produce and quantity were fantastic. Each day a different, but sumptuous breakfast that made lunch redundant.
We highly recommend this B and B, and look forward to staying there again.
Great value for money, an absolute gem. We would have stayed all week if it had been in the town. The home cooked breakfast was a splendid meal served in the garden. Thoroughly recommend it!
Good breakfast, friendly owner, general garden area's lacked a bit of tlc (tender loving care). A bit much noise from road, railway and adjacent house and dogs. Chose off internet site as located in a rural area adjacent to Tropea.
Excellent up-market bed and breakfast, where service from the very friendly and obliging owners, was as good as you would get in a 5 star hotel.
Accommodation was in a small annexe set in the garden of a large house, a very nice air conditioned room, with en suite bathroom and its own patio, where breakfast was served to us each morning and what a feast it was!
Lovely selection of hot food, wonderful coffee, fresh fruit and juices, as well as the usual selection of breads and pastries with home made preserves. We were particularly grateful that the owners were able to provide a full breakfast on our last morning, even though we had to leave very early to catch a morning flight out of Lamezia.
Location is very convenient, being about 5 minutes drive from Tropea and with reasonably good access to main roads.
Overall, a very nice, quiet place to relax and chill out, where the owners really couldn't have done more to make us feel welcome.
Recommended, and yes, if we ever visit the area again, we will certainly hope to be able to stay there again.
Excellent séjour dans un endroit trés agréable doté d'un jardin extraordinaire. Les propriétaires sont des gens extrémement sociables tout en étant discrets!
Es algo dificil la ubicacion por que no está bien señalizado, ademas el estacionamiento es por una puerta lateral, estrecha y oscura, lo mismo que la calle de acceso al garage, muy dificultoso para entrar de noche. Además es al aire libre y hay que retirar un candado y una cadena con lo cual es muy molesto sobretodo día de lluvias
