Comentarios B&B Cave Canem - Pompei

This B&B was the only hotel proposed by Initalia in Pompei.

It is very conveniently located in the center of the city and very close to the entrance to the ruins, but...

Guests are greeted on very restricted hours. Four phone numbers are proposed on the door, none of them enabled to reach anyone. Fortunately, Pompei's Tourists Information Center is close by and they managed to get hold of the tenant... who speaks exclusively Italian.

There is no air-conditionning, only a beautiful fan... totally ineffective. Quite inconfortable in summer.

We had booked a 4-people room, in fact it was a 2-people bedroom with an extra third bed...and a fourth bed collapsed under it. With grown children and the bags it was rather cramped.

The room's door is windowed resulting in a poor acoustic performance and limited privacy.

Breakfast is served in the room because there is no other place, but there is no place in the room. Even when you order in italian, your chances of getting what you ordered are random... probably the accent.

Le propriétaire est vraiment agréable et tres attentionné aux besoins de ses clients!
