Die Außentür war morgens von innen von Gästen nicht zu öffnen, sondern erst eine herbeigerufene Bedienung betätigte eine Taste unter dem Tresen, damit die Tür geöffnet werden konnte. Der Fluchtweg war also nach draußen versperrt.
Das Frühstück war erst später fertig als angekündigt.
