Reviews Hotel Oriente - Lipari

I cannot recommend Hotel Oriente highly enough. We followed the advice on trip advisor and sure enough our stay here was amazing. We spent 2 nights in Lipari on a 10 day trip around Calabria and Sicily and it was by far the best experience. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially the owner who has a booming voice and a great sense of humour and is always on hand to have a laugh or ensure you are getting everything you need. The breakfast buffet goes on forever with everything you can imagine - all fresh and very healthy. During the stay I lost my wallet while out on our rented scooter (best way to see the island) and incredibly it was returned to the police! The owner of Hotel Oriente was kind enough to accompany me to the police station to sort it out. Also, on our departure day, our ferry was not until 4pm, so we checked out in the morning and left our bags at Hotel Oriente. Around 2 we had finished lunch and sightseeing and just wanted to get out of the heat. We went back to the hotel and they welcomed us back, so we hung out in their beautiful back garden for a couple hours before they dropped us back to the port to get our ferry. They will send someone to pick you up if you call on arrival. The location is great and the room was really comfortable with a nice balcony. And this was the cheapest place on our trip! A real home away from home.

Il ristorante in albergo alzerebbe lo standard dello stesso a un livello superiore.

Più che un hotel è un museo della civiltà contadina e marinara......

La prossima volta che tornerò a Lipari non potrò fare a meno di prenotare all'Hotel Oriente.

Great Value for money - very clean, large rooms with a fantastic courtyard and extremely freindly staff. One minute walk to the main street, would definitely stay there again.

Ho soggiorrnato da sola x lavoro e mi sn trovata benissimo...Se dovessi ritornare alle Eolie è sicuro che ritornerò qui...Inoltre c'è una colazione buonissima e ricchissima la mattina..!!!

Rispetto al contesto totale dell'Hotel, le camere offrono una quasi sufficienza, causa mobilio di scarsa fattura e servizi igienici datati. La struttura consentirebbe uno standard molto piu' elevato.

Les chambres sont plutôt vieillotes, en particulier les salles de bains et douches, le jardin est fouillis non dans charme.

Les points forts: la situation en centre-ville et la courtoisie du patron; les points faibles: le confort des chambres et surtout des sanitaires.

Sejour tres agreable...
