Lovely hotel in quiet neighbourhood. Very nice pool surrounded by a lawn with trees for those who prefer the shade. Spotless comfortable rooms. Although a car is needed to visit the touristic attractions, you find everything you need in Spianata: a bar, a superb gelateria and a small supermarket. The staff is very kind and helpful. We loved our stay and can surely recommend this lovely place.

Da wir mit dem Miet-auto waren, sind wir auf keine öffentliche verkehrsmittel angewiesen!

Ein tolles anwesen- am Frühstück hätte man einiges besser machen können - frischen Säft (hier kommt das Obst her!!!) und vielleicht einen Toaster- aber für ital. Verhältnisse trotzdem ein gutes Frühstück- wir sind in Deutschland etwas verwöhnt! Ein tolles b&b hotel -sehr gute Lage und sehr schön. Hier kann man gut abschalten! Gern wieder!

Ein fantastisches B&B, sehr sauber und neu renoviert. Vermisst haben wir in unseren Zimmern lediglich eine Garderobe sowie einen Tisch mit Stühlen.

Visitant la région à cinq personnes, nous avons passé deux nuits reposantes dans les trois chambres qui nous avaient été attribuées. Beau petit-déjeuner buffet.

Seul petit problème, trouver l'établissement la première fois mais par après heureux de son isolement !

Si nous retournons encore dans la région de la Toscane, nous réserverons encore dans cet charmant hotel.

The hotel was very comfortable, clean and well kept. The swimming pool was extremely well maintained, on a daily basis. It is surrounded by sun-loungers and umbrellas, and from about midday onwards, it enjoys cool breezes which sweep right across the entire pool area. Another good point is the breakfast, which is, in effect, a breakfast buffet. There is an informal atmosphere in the breakfast room, where you can eat as much or as little as you want, unhurriedly,and enjoy a good range of fresh fruit, fruit juices,brioches,cold meats and cheese and bread. We did not see any sign of masses local produce that was mentioned in the brochure. A possible area for improvement would be, on arrival, being made to feel welcome, through both words and body language. Being given some friendly words, to reassure guests of general helpfulness and assistance, should any be needed, would be a good way to begin, rather than having to ask for it.

We enjoyed our stay and would visit Sant 'Elena again.

We arrived much later than we expected, due to traffic problems, but we were greeted well and made to feel very welcome.
