Algila Ortigia Charme Hotel, Siracusa (Sicilia)

The Algilà Ortigia Charme Hotel is found in Syracuse on the historic Mastra Rua, which has been the site of important noble residences of the city since the 14th century.

The recent renovation has maintained the original structure of the three buildings, contributing to the unique layout.

The restoration of this building paid particular attention to maintaining and improving the atmosphere of the historic residences chosen for the new hotel.

The 30 guest rooms are decorated in a different style with period furnishings, canopy beds and carefully chosen accessories, creating a typical Sicilian style with Mediterranean influences.

Different rooms are available:

- Executive Double rooms with curtains and hand-painted visible beams.

The bathroom includes a bathtub and shower. Outside, there is a private sunbathing area overlooking the sea of Ortigia and a round hot tub.

- Junior Suites with two separate rooms to provide excellent accommodation for those who do not wish to sacrifice comfort. They overlook a traditional Mediterranean courtyard and include a double bed with a hand-painted wooden headboard, and an en suite bathroom with a spacious shower with therapeutic water jets. An additional bed is available upon request.

- Classic Double rooms with a double bed or two separate beds.

Decorated with period furnishings in typical Sicilian style, they include a hand-decorated en suite bathroom and a lovely view of the characteristic Mediterranean courtyard.

- Classic rooms are cosy and elegant, and are decorated with period furnishings, including high quality tapestries and fabrics.
