Unterwirt Taubers Hotel is located in Velturno, in the province of Bolzano, within easy reach of the most important places in Trentino Alto Adige.
Fully renovated in 2006 and run by the Tauber family for the last five generations, it has been an important reference point for the local and regional community for the last 150 years.
It has been sympathetically restored in keeping with the natural features of the Isarco Valley and the characteristic “masi” farmsteads, offering comfortable rooms, high quality facilities and a warm welcome. The Tauber family is ready to satisfy the needs of their guests, so that they may enjoy a truly relaxing and peaceful break.

Restaurante y Bar
The cuisine has been a strong point of the traditional hospitality offered by the Unterwirt Taubers Hotel for the last five generations.
Franz Tauber, one of the first sommeliers in Alto Adige, has passed on his passion for excellent food and wine to the whole family; it’s no coincidence that Unterwirt is mentioned in some of the best gourmet guides.
The menu varies according to the season, and special culinary weeks are often organised such as the Fish Starters Week, or the Isarco Valley Cuisine Week (always in March).
Autumn is the season for chestnuts and novello (new) wine, when special chestnut weeks and chestnut festivals are held (in November).

A22 “Autostrada del Brennero” motorway, “Chiusa - Val Gardena” exit (straight after the "Bolzano Nord” exit, coming from Verona). Turn right, cross the bridge, continue to the crossroads, and then follow the signs for Velturno, 3 km away. After entering the town, turn right and then right again. The hotel is very close to Velturno church.
