Hotel Ungheria, Varese

By car

From the orbital roads around Milan, take the A8 “Autostrada dei Laghi” motorway for Varese, and continue to Varese city centre. At the end of the motorway, turn right at the traffic light and then right again into Viale Borri. Continue for 1 km, go past the hospital on the left, and then continue straight on for 300 metres to number 98.

From Switzerland

Take the SS233 road to Varese; enter the city and follow the signs marked "Stazioni Ferroviarie / Piazzale Trieste". From Piazzale Trieste, continue towards the A8 motorway. When you see the entrance to the motorway, keep to the left and after a short distance turn right into Viale Borri. Continue for 1 km, go past the hospital on the left, and then continue straight on for 300 metres to number 98.

By train

Varese can be reached on the “Ferrovie dello Stato” and the “Ferrovie Nord” railways.

From Milan central station take the MM2 underground (green line, towards Abbiategrasso), getting off at Porta Garibaldi (“FFSS” railway station) or Cadorna (“FN” railway station). Take a train to Varese (FFSS) or “Varese Nord” (FN).

From either train station, take the E Line bus for Bizzozzero (the stop is in front of the “FFSS” railway station) and get off at the fifth stop. Hotel Ungheria is 30 metres away.

Taxis can be found in front of the station.

By air

The closest airport is Milan Malpensa international airport, 25 km away from the hotel.

Take the Malpensa Express train to Saronno, then proceed on a “Ferrovie Nord” train to Varese.

From Milan Linate airport, 75 km away from the hotel, take the number 73 bus, getting off at San Babila, then proceed on the MM1 underground (red line), getting off at Cadorna and proceed on a “Ferrovie Nord” train to Varese. From the station, follow the same instructions as for those arriving by train.
