A Casa di Virgilio Florence

The A Casa di Virgilio Bed and Breakfast is situated in the Rifredi district, 10 minutes from the airport, near Santa Maria Novella train station, the Azienda Ospedaliero-Universitaria Careggi which houses the university and the Azienda Ospedaliera Maria, Fortezza da Basso as well as the historic centre of Florence.

Piazza Dalmazia is a must see, known as "nature's shopping centre" and used by most of the shops which surround it. Also nearby is a public children's playground, a selection of pizzerias, bars and restaurants and every distraction necessary to ensure a fun and relaxing trip to Florence.

Easily reachable with public transport, the bus stops directly in front of the B&B. The concept for the B&B originated from the desire to offer guests hospitality in "Grandpa Virgilio's" old house, creating a warm, welcoming atmosphere offering guests all the comforts of their own home.

The house has been tastefully and colourfully decorated, the ceilings and windows create a great sense of freedom and light, the antique floors take guests back to a time gone by where the pace of life was slower. The walls guarantee freshness during the Summer meaning guests won't need to use air conditioning although it is present.

The B&B offers free Wi-Fi Internet access and special rates with the car park opposite - the car park is closed from 9th to 21st August.

Guests are kindly requested to communicate their estimated time of arrival at least 24 hours prior to arrival so the B&B can organise check in procedures.
