The 6 Suites are welcoming and luminous and are elegantly decorated with high quality materials (such as Tuscan terracotta and wood) that create a beautiful harmony of colours in a warm and intimate atmosphere.
The suites combine several spacious rooms and include a bedroom; a bathroom with a bathtub and shower, a washbasin and a toilet; a living room; and another bathroom with a shower.
The bathrooms are enriched with beautiful mosaics and crystals, and have a hairdryer and make-up mirror.
The facilities available include air conditioning, a minibar, a safety deposit box, satellite colour television, and WiFi internet access.
The terraces of the two suites on the third floor are equipped with a comfortable armchair, a table and chairs where guests can enjoy a delicious breakfast, aperitif at sunset or intimate moonlit dinner.

Description of Bar/Restaurant Facilities
Corte dell'Angelo restaurant is located behind the main façade of the hotel and provides a charming atmosphere to make any occasion unique.
The kitchen serves an exquisite selection of international dishes accompanied by traditional local flavours. Guests can enjoy fine liqueurs to accompany the delicious specialities of Lucca,
The restaurant has a beautiful veranda available during the summer overlooking Corte dell’Angelo, an ideal place to chat in good company while enjoying a fine wine from our cellar or enjoying a peaceful candle-lit dinner.
How to reach Antica Residenza dell' Angelo
By car
Take the A11/A12 connecting road to the Lucca exit. Follow the directions for Centro Città, take the overpass and turn left onto Viale Luporini.
Continue for around 1km to Piazzale Italia and turn left at the traffic circle. Continue straight along Viale Giosuè Carducci and turn onto Porta Sant'Anna (the first entrance in the city walls), then follow the directions for paid parking inside the walls.
To park outside of the city walls, take the Circonvallazione to Viale Carducci where the parking lot is located.
To park inside the city walls (coming from the A11 or A12 motorway) take the Circonvallazione along the walls and enter the city at Porta Sant'Anna.
By train
The Lucca railway station is just a 10 minute walk from the hotel.
From the railway station, take Viale Regina Margherita, turn left and continue along the city walls to the Porta San Pietro entrance. Take Via Carrara and Via San Girolamo, go to Piazza Napoleone and take Via Beccheria. The hotel is located at street number 11.
By bus
The Lazzi and/or Clap buses to Lucca stop in Piazzale Verdi.
From the piazza, walk along Via San Paolino to Piazza San Michele, cross the piazza heading towards the church bell tower, then turn right onto Via Beccheria.
By plane
From Pisa Galileo Galilei Airport, the hotel can be reached by train or by car following the directions for Lucca.
From Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport, the hotel can be reached by train or by car following the directions for the A11 Firenze – Mare motorway to the Lucca exit.
