The Residence Aviotel is located on the island of Elba (in the resort area of La Pila) next to a small island airport in the area that connects the north side to the south side of the island.
Its unique location allows guests to reach the most beautiful beaches in just a few minutes by car: to the north, the Gulfs of Marciana, Procchio, and the Biodola while to the south, the gulfs of Marina di Campo, Cavoli and Fetovaia.
Aviotel has an agreement with the nearby bathing establishment, Tropical, which offers discounts to the facilities for guests of the residence.
The most famous places of the island, including nightclubs, restaurants, sandwich shops, pubs, ice cream shops and game rooms, are also easily reached from the hotel.

The building includes apartments of diverse capacities, all located on the ground floor and equipped with all of the necessary comforts. Furthermore, the residence has a 3 level swimming pool, storage/office for bicycles, renting bicycles/cars/mopeds, a room for TV/meetings/play room, a bar, a restaurant, parking, extensive outdoor areas for tennis/recreation, a baby club and a barbecue area.
Since 2000, Aviotel has been a member of the italybikehotels consortium, a group of hotels specialising in services for tourists on bicycles, and since 2003, it has also been a member of the consortium ITALYFAMILYHOTELS, which unites a group of hotels specialising in services for families with small children.

Due to its unique location near the airport and the fact that the apartments are equipped with heating, the residence Aviotel is open year round: clients can enjoy a holiday of complete comfort and relaxation even during the months that are traditionally less frequented.

The Residence Aviotel is comprised of different types of apartments that are all located on the ground floor of the building.
One-room flats (for 3 people), Two-room flats (4-5-6 people) and Three-room flats (for 7 people) are available.
All of the apartments are completely furnished and include a fully equipped kitchenette, a bathroom with a shower, a telephone, a satellite TV, air conditioning, and a private garden with a deck chair, an umbrella, as well as a table and chairs.

The residence has a large bar for lunch with menu service or a buffet, and a small bar near the swimming pool that is open during the evening.

Aviotel also has a family-run restaurant with a typical menu of home-style cooking that is large enough to accommodate 250 guests and is also appropriate for groups.

By car

From the North: Take the A12 Genova-Rosignano motorway and continue until it ends. Merge onto the Livorno-Roma expressway, take the exit for Venturina and follow the directions for Piombino where the ferryboats depart for the Island of Elba (Portoferrario).
Upon disembarking, travel towards Marina di Campo and head towards the airport in the resort area of La Pila.
The residence is located 50 metres away from the airport.

From the South: Take the Roma/Civitavecchia-Livorno motorway to the Rio Torto exit and then follow the state road to Piombino. From Piombino, embark for Portoferrario: upon disembarking, follow the directions for Marina di Campo and head towards the airport in the resort area of La Pila.

By train

Take the train for Piombino Marittima, which goes directly to the port, from where ferryboats are available to Portoferraio. Upon disembarking on the island, take a bus to Marina di Campo and get off the bus at the airport stop (around 200m away from the residence).

By plane

There are connecting lines from Milan Malpensa, Bergamo, Bologna, Pisa, Bastia, Cuneo, Monaco, Friedrichshafen, and Zurich that land directly at Marina di Campo, located 50m away from the residence.
