By car
From Rome (220 km)
From the A1 motorway, take the “Firenze Sud” exit and follow the signs for the city centre. Proceed along the Lungarno until you reach the Hotel Mediterraneo (on your right). From there, turn right into Viali di Circonvallazione and then turn left at the first traffic light. Go straight on along Via dell'Agnolo to the end of the road: turn right into Via Verdi and then take the first road on the left (Via S. P. Maggiore). Go straight on into B.go degli Albizi: at the end you will find Via del Proconsolo, where Grand Hotel Cavour is located.

From Bologna (80 km)
From the A1 motorway, leave at the “Firenze Nord” exit and follow the signs for the city centre. Then follow the signs marked "Centro-Viali Circonvallazione" and head towards the River Arno to Piazza Beccaria. Past the square, close to the "Nazione" (Florence newspaper), you will find a traffic light: turn right into Via dell'Agnolo. Go straight on to the end of the road and turn right into Via Verdi: then take the first road on the left (Via S. P. Maggiore) and go straight on to Borgo degli Albizi: at the end you will find Via del Proconsolo, where Grand Hotel Cavour is located.

By train
The hotel is about 800 metres away from Santa Maria Novella train station.

By air
Florence airport is about 5 km away from the city centre and has good taxi, shuttle service and bus connections.
