General Description of the Hotel
Relais Alcova del Doge is located in Mira (VE), 15 km from Venice and 20 km from Padua. It is set in the heart of the Brenta Riviera, a resort favoured by the Venetian aristocracy in the past.
The building dates back to 1850 and is composed of six rooms, attentively furnished by the owners. The antique style furniture combines well with the colours used throughout the rooms to create a warm and friendly atmosphere.
Michela and Sabrina, the owners, will be pleased to welcome you wayfarers and your loved ones, friends, family and pets, as here you will find a safe haven for the night, as, of course, will your car or bicycle.

Alcova del Doge’s six romantic rooms have been furnished by the two owners with passion and taste. All of the rooms are equipped with every comfort such as air conditioning, an LCD TV, a modem socket, a safety deposit box and a minibar. The spacious en suite bathrooms are all equipped with a hairdryer and a magnifying mirror. The view enjoyed from the rooms ranges from the property’s splendid courtyard, to the luxuriant park of an old villa and the relaxing and picturesque River Brenta flowing by, offering guests a pleasing sensation of peace and relaxation.

Direction and Transportation
BY CAR: For those coming from Milan, Rome Bologna (A4, A13) A4 motorway, take the Dolo-Mirano exit. Take the third exit off the roundabout (Via delle Cave then Via Molinella) following the signs for Mira. Proceed for about 4 km. Turn left at the end of the road. After 50 metres you will find Alcova del Doge on your left.
For those coming from Tarvisio-Udine,Trieste, Belluno, Pordenone (A4, A23, A27, and A28) A4 motorway, take the Venezia Est exit. Proceed along the Mestre ring road in the direction of Milan. Go back onto the A4 motorway for Padua, leaving at the Dolo-Mirano exit. Take the third exit off the roundabout (Via delle Cave then Via Molinella) following the signs for Mira. Proceed for about 4 km. Turn left at the end of the road. After 50 metres you will find Alcova del Doge on your left.
For those coming from Venice Marco Polo Airport. Proceed along the Mestre ring road in the direction of Milan. Go back onto the A4 motorway for Padua, leaving at the Dolo-Mirano exit. Take the third exit off the roundabout (Via delle Cave then Via Molinella) following the signs for Mira. Proceed for about 4 km. Turn left at the end of the road. After 50 metres you will find Alcova del Doge on your left.
For those coming from Ravenna, take the SS Romea state road, follow the signs for the SS 11 in the direction of Padua. You will reach Mira after 10 km. Pass the centre in the direction of Padova Dolo. Alcova del Doge is 300 metres along on your right.
BY BUS: Use the ACTV buses that leave every 15-30 minutes from Venice (Piazzale Roma), from Mestre (Piazza XXVII Ottobre) and from Padua (Piazzale Boschetti) and get off at the Mira Capitello Albrizzi stop, which is 150 metres away from Alcova del Doge. The timetable for the 53E Venezia-Padova line can be seen at www.actv.it.
BY AIR: for those hiring a car from Venice Marco Polo Airport, proceed along the Mestre ring road in the direction of Milan. Go back onto the A4 motorway for Padua, leaving at the Dolo-Mirano exit. For those using public transport, take the Atvo Express bus that leaves every half hour or the number 15 Actv bus for Mestre Piazza XXVII Ottobre; from there take the Actv 53E Venezia-Padova bus, getting off at the Mira Capitello Albrizzi stop that is 150 metres from Alcova del Doge. www.actv.it or www.atvo.it. From Treviso airport, for those using public transport, take the Atvo Express bus for Mestre Piazza XXVII Ottobre that coincides with your flight; from there take the Actv 53E Venezia-Padova bus, getting off at the Mira Capitello Albrizzi stop that is 150 metres from Alcova del Doge. www.actv.it or www.atvo.it.
BY TRAIN: from Venezia Mestre or Padova train station take the regional train to Dolo station. We would be pleased to organise a taxi to take you to Alcova del Doge, which is 3 km away. The train timetables can be seen at www.trenitalia.it. From Mestre, the bus stop for the 53E line for Padua (that stops at Mira Capitello Albrizzi) is close to the station near to the flyover ramp for Venice.
