The Hotel Ancora is found in Pontecagnano Faiano on the southern coast of Salerno directly on the sea, an excellent location for short or long stays at the beach or exploring the rich culture of this area.
The hotel was completely renovated in 2009 and has free parking as well as transportation service to and from Pontecagnano railway station.
The hotel is located 6km away from Salerno Costa d’Amalfi Airport in an area that makes it easy for guests to reach the artistic cities of Paestum and Pompei, and the Amalfi Coast with the beautiful cities of Amalfi and Positano.
Salerno can be reached in just a few minutes, a pearl of the Mediterranean sea with a tree-lined promenade, market streets where history meets shopping, and the seaside roads where visitors can take in the breathtaking scenery of the Amalfi Coast.

Children from 0 to 5 years old can stay free of charge in bed with their parents. Cradles are available for an additional fee of 10 euros.
Children from 5 to 12 years old can stay in an additional bed for a cost of 15 euros.

Room Description

The hotel has 40 spacious and comfortable different guest rooms decorated with a modern design and natural beech wood trimmings.
The balconies overlooking the sea include a table and chairs from where guests can admire the breathtaking sunset over the Amalfi Coast. The guest rooms have internet access, satellite colour television, a direct dial telephone, air conditioning and an en suite bathroom.

- Superior ocean-view rooms:
The Superior rooms are spacious and luminous and have a lovely balcony overlooking the Gulf of Salerno and the Amalfi Coast. Decorated in a simple and elegant style, they are equipped with every comfort to ensure that guests enjoy a pleasant stay.

The lunch restaurant serves light meals allowing guests to make the most of their time at the sea or exploring local attractions. In the evening, the dining room provides an elegant and sophisticated atmosphere where guests can enjoy their meal.

In either case, guests can enjoy delicious seafood, rustic dishes and authentic Neapolitan pizza. Specialities include DOP Mozzarella and other products.

The delicious breakfast buffet should also not be missed.

The bar provides a welcoming atmosphere where guests can relax and unwind in the evenings in good company.

By car

From the A3 Salerno – Reggio Calabria motorway, take the Pontecagnano exit and continue along the Tangenziale di Salerno for around 3km to the Zona Industriale – Stadio Arechi exit.
Take the road that divides the carriageway with palm trees for around 1km until reaching the sea, turn left and continue for 4km along the coastal road (Costa Sud Salerno), where the hotel is located on the left.

By train

From the Salerno and Pontecagnano railway stations, take the bus to the promenade or take a taxi.

From Pontecagnano Station, transfer service is available.

By plane
