The Hotel Brunelleschi is a luxurious hotel in the heart of Florence found in a renovated complex consisting of the Torre Bizantina della Pagliazza and the Church of San Michele in Palchetto.
After an attentive restoration that preserved the original architectural characteristics, the hotel currently offers the highest quality comforts of 4 star hospitality and is an excellent location for those travelling in the capital of Tuscany on business or leisure.
The elegant guest rooms, restaurant, the panoramic terrace and the extensive common areas were designed to ensure the utmost satisfaction of our guests throughout their stay.
The fascinating museum houses the findings discovered during the restoration of the tower, and the traces of an original Roman calidarium. The semicircle shape of the Torre della Pagliazza shows it to be of Byzantine origin (VI century).

The Classic double rooms overlook Via del Giglio and Piazzetta del Giglio and measure at least 23 square metres. They include two single beds (190cm x 90cm) that can be joined on request to make a comfortable double bed, and four hypoallergenic feather pillows.
The rooms also include colour satellite television, Sky TV, a writing desk and chair, an armchair, direct dial telephone, air conditioning and heating, a safe and a spacious bathroom with a bath or shower, a hairdryer and soft towels.

The Junior Executive Suites have been completely renovated including the furniture and fittings; by the architect Benelli. They overlook the renowned Via de' Calzaioli, centre of the Florentine shopping district as well as a beautiful view over Piazza della Repubblica.
The Junior Executive Suites have a 200 x 190cm double four poster bed and have been decorated in a contemporary style with oak parquet floors.
The Junior Executive Suites have LCD colour satellite televisions with Sky TV, direct dial telephone, air conditioning and heating, safe, large bathroom with bath or shower, hairdryer, magnifying mirror, soft towels, slippers, elegant bathrobes and complimentary toiletries in soft bottles from Maison Vrai.
These rooms also contain two multi line telephones and a telephone in the bathroom, voicemail, espresso coffee machine, iPod docking station, a safe large enough to contain a laptop with a charging facility, elegant Pedersoli bed linen, quality complimentary toiletries, twice daily cleaning and reset service including turn down, a selection of national and international daily newspapers and a Wi-Fi Internet connection.

Santa Elisabetta restaurant, located on the first floor of the hotel, has 3 dining rooms that can comfortably accommodate up to 120 people, and offers delicious gastronomic specialities along with an extensive selection of fine wines.

The indoor restaurant, ideal for a romantic dinner, a delicious breakfast or a business lunch, offers a wide range of classic dishes prepared according to Tuscan tradition, as well as modern and innovative cuisine.

Our highly qualified staff are always pleased to recommend menu items and to assist guests in ensuring the success of receptions or special events.

Guests can also relax and unwind with a refreshing cocktail served in our exclusive private museum, on the lovely panoramic terrace and in the elegant art nouveau lounge of the hotel.

Description of Conference and Meeting Facilities

The hotel has 3 conference rooms - San Michele, Pagliazza and Bizantina – that can be arranged in various ways according to the needs of our clients.

The largest room, Sala San Michele, can accommodate up to 90 people with a theatre layout, 40 people with a horseshoe layout, and 40 people with a school table layout.

Available equipment: WiFi internet access, a flip chart, an overhead projector, a slide projector, a VHS video projector on a large screen, microphones and a sound system, conference recording equipment, a podium, a platform, a secretary room, technical assistance, photocopy service, an ADSL line, radio microphones and a laser pointer.

By car

Take the A1 Autostrada del Sole motorway to the Firenze Sud exit. After the tollbooth exit, continue to the end of the connecting road, turn left at the traffic light, and continue alongside the Arno river. After 3km, turn right onto Viali di Circonvallazione (Viale Giovanni Amendola). At the first traffic light, turn left onto Viale Duca d’Abruzzi keeping to the right, and turning into an S curve to enter into the historic centre on Via dell’Agnolo. At the end of Via dell’Agnolo, turn right onto Via Verdi, and at the traffic light at Piazza Salvemini, turn left onto Via Sant'Egidio. Take the second left onto Via de' Servi, then turn left onto Piazza Duomo. Turn onto the ring road around the Duomo, head along Via del Proconsolo, turn at the second right onto Via del Corso, take the second right, Via Santa Elisabetta, and continue until reaching Piazza Santa Elisabetta.
