The Hotel Désirée is located on Elba Island in an enchanting location in the middle of a cool, green valley directly on the seafront.
The hotel is found in a park measuring seven hectares full of Mediterranean greenery. It is composed of a main building housing the restaurant, bar, reception and double rooms, and two outbuildings housing the family suites: the Walewska and the Paolina.
Guests have access to a beautiful private, sandy beach, a swimming pool with sea water, two tennis courts, a fully equipped gym surrounded by nature, a bocce court, bicycle rental service, and a playground for children.
Guests of the hotel also have the opportunity to participate in numerous sports, including sailing, scuba diving, windsurfing, hiking, mountain biking, excursions in the area, swimming lessons for adults and children with authorised instructions, and reception service every day.

Room Description

The double rooms, located in the main building, offer a view of the sea or the mountains.
There are also two annexes close by: the “Paolina”, right on the sea front (composed of two double rooms with a shared bathroom), and the "Walewska", fully renovated it overlooks the tennis courts.

Description of Bar/Restaurant Facilities

The hotel offers both half-board and full-board packages.
The restaurant serves typical Tuscan and international delicacies accompanied by fine wines. A buffet breakfast is served each morning, while a menu with a choice of four starters and main courses is offered for lunch and dinner.
The restaurant has special children's and gluten-free menus available.
There are four bars available in the hotel, include the Pool Bar next to the swimming pool, a terrace overlooking the beach, the Beach Bar and the Juicy Bar, bot of which are located on the beach.

The hotel is located 12km away from Portoferraio, 1km away from Procchio, 7km away from Marciana Marina and 5km away from Marina di Campo.
This central location on the island means that all of the most important towns are within easy reach. Upon reaching Portoferraio follow the signs for Procchio. Proceed towards Marciana Marina and turn right towards Spartaia after about 500 metres.
