The Hotel Lorenzo il Magnifico is located in Florence in a historic 18th century residence that has recently been renovated.
Found in an excellent location close to the historic centre, it is a perfect base from which to explore the museums, monuments and exclusive shopping roads and provides ideal accommodation for those travelling on business just a short distance away from the Fortezza Da Basso conference and exhibition centre.

The building has maintained the historic fascination of the women's college with lacunar ceilings, Venetian polished marble floors, mosaics and beautiful frescoes that comprise an extensive private collection.

By car

From the A1 Autostrada del Sole motorway, take the Firenze - Impruneta, Firenze Nord or Firenze Sud exit.
Follow the directions for Viali di Circonvallazione, then for Piazza della Libertà. From Piazza della Libertà, take Via Lorenzo il Magnifico.

From the Firenze - Impruneta exit, take Via Senese (around 3km), turn right onto Via del Gelsomino, continue along Viale Torricelli and turn right onto Viale Galileo. Upon reaching Piazzale Michelangelo (which has a lovely panoramic view), go past Piazza Ferrucci, then turn right onto Ponte San Niccolò. Continue along Viale Giovanni Amendola and follow the directions for Piazza della Libertà.
Upon reaching the Piazza, take Via Lorenzo il Magnifico and park in the hotel's convenient parking lot.

By train

From the Florence Santa Maria Novella Station, Firenze Rifredi Station and Firenze Campo Marte Station, take a taxi to the hotel.

By plane

From Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport, take the shuttle bus directly to Florence Santa Maria Novella Station.
