Description of Bar/Restaurant Facilities
A delicious continental buffet breakfast is served each morning from 8:00 to 10:00 in the welcoming breakfast room decorated with a beautiful art collection.
The buffet includes coffee, milk, tea, chocolate, orange juice and pineapple juice, fresh croissants, pastries, white and whole grain bread, biscuits, cereal (cornflakes, muesli, coco pops), fresh kiwi, fruit salad, cheese, whole yoghurt with fruit, butter, jam, chocolate cream and honey.
Direction and Transportation
By car
Take the A1 Autostrada del Sole motorway to the Firenze Certosa exit. Follow the directions for Centro, go up the hill keeping the monastery on the left, go through Galluzzo, head straight along the road with the service stations, and turn right at the traffic light, then take Viale del Poggio Imperiale, which leads to Piazza di Porta Romana.
Go under the arch on Via Romana, head straight along Via Maggio, pass the Ponte Santa Trinità bridge, continue along Via Tornabuoni, go past the traffic light and take the second road on the right. Immediately after the news stand on Via degli Agli, head along Via dei Pecori (pedestrian area), at a moderate speed.
Turn at the second right onto Via Roma, head straight and turn left at the second road onto Via degli Speziali. Finally, take the second road on the left, Via de' Calzaiuoli.
Upon arriving at the hotel, guests will be provided with free vehicle access to the historic centre.
The entrance to the historic centre is monitored by video cameras. Hotel guests are permitted to enter the town centre and the Zona Pedonale (pedestrian area) in order to reach the hotel that they have booked.
Guests must inform the hotel of their numberplate upon arrival.
By train
The Hotel Axial is located around 900m away from Santa Maria Novella Central Station.
Exit on the left of the station, go through the underpass, take Via Panzani, and continue along Via de' Cerretani until arriving at the Duomo.
From the centre of the square, facing the Duomo, Via dei Calzaiuoli is located on the right.
Alternatively, take the number 14 or 23 bus, which stops in Piazza Duomo.
By plane
From Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport, take the Vola in Bus shuttle directly to Santa Maria Novella Station.
The ticket can be purchased on board for a cost of €4.
Alternatively, taxis are available for a cost of approximately €20.

No cancellation penalties will be charged if notification is given at least 2 days prior to arrival. In case of cancellations made after this date or no-shows, the first night will be charged to the credit card provided. No advance payment required, this room will be paid for directly at the hotel.
