From the north
Take the A1 motorway to the Firenze Nord exit; follow the signs marked Centro and Viali di Circonvallazione and continue towards Fortezza da Basso and Piazza della Libertà. When you reach Piazza della Libertà, go left at the traffic light and drive around the square. At the next traffic light turn left again. San Gallo Palace is 100 metres down on the right hand side.
From the south
Take the A1 motorway to the Firenze Sud exit; follow the signs marked Centro and Viali di Circonvallazione to Piazza della Libertà. When you reach Piazza della Libertà, go straight on at the traffic light: San Gallo Palace is immediately on the right.
By train
Upon arriving at Santa Maria Novella central station, you can take a taxi or the Line 1 bus to Piazza della Libertà.
By air
From Florence Amerigo Vespucci airport, just 5km away from the centre, you can reach San Gallo Palace by taxi; the journey takes about 15 minutes.
The shuttle bus service that runs from the airport to Santa Maria Novella station is a valid and convenient alternative; the hotel is a 10 minute taxi ride from the station.
The hotel reception can always arrange private transportation for you upon request.
