Locanda Degli Ulivi is situated in the Arcugnano countryside, only 4km from the centre of Vicenza in a panoramic position overlooking the splendid Fimon valley.
The old building, which dates back to the 1600's, is presented today as a charming, small hotel where the echoes from the past meet with the functionality of a modern hotel.
The well carried out reconstruction has resulted in 10 rooms finished in a typical Veneto style, characterised by elegant parquet floors and exposed beam ceilings.
The splendid panoramic terrace and the dining areas provide pleasant spots where guests can meet and enjoy special occasions.
The small library can accommodate meetings for up to 15 people.

Near the Locanda, nature and sports lovers can take part in hiking, cycling, golf and horseriding.

La Locanda degli Ulivi offers elegant rooms with parquet floors, exposed beam ceilings and prestigious cotton bed linen.
The traditional 1800's Veneto-style furnishings create an exclusive, relaxing atmosphere.

The rooms come complete with a 26” LCD screen colour television, Sky TV, Pay TV, telephone, Wi-Fi Internet connection, minibar, air conditioning, safe and en suite bathroom with hairdryer.

Description of Bar/Restaurant Facilities

The restaurant serves typical local cuisine with dishes based on fresh fish, carefully selected cuts of meat and seasonal vegetables.
Worthy of note are the “bigoli” chestnut flour pasta and truffles from the Berici hills, the pigeon ravioli with red wine sauce, venere rice with lobster ragu, marinated radicchio with blue goat's cheese, prussian veal chop with grilled porcini mushrooms and the Carloforte tuna steak accompanied by a herb tartlet.
Guests must also try the delicious chestnut crème brûlée or the coffee semifreddo with liquorice sauce.
The pasta and desserts are all home-made.

During the Summer months, the panoramic terrace offers the perfect backdrop for delicious aperitifs or receptions and events for up to 200 people. The intimate red dining room with its open fire is perfect for romantic dinners for two, whilst the white room can host cerimonies and receptions for up to 50 people.

The restaurant is open during the evening from Monday to Saturday and on Sundays for lunch.

The library can host small meetings for up to 15 people.

By car

From the A4 Milano – Venezia motorway, take the exit for Vicenza Ovest. Continue along the tangenziale towards Vicenza Est, take the exit for Riviera Bercia, continue for 50 metres towards Longare and turn right in to Via della Commenda. After going 2km uphill, at the junction with the SP10 Dorsale dei Berici road, turn left towards Arcugnano – Perarolo.
The entrance to the Locanda is situated after 2km on the left.

By train

From Vicenza train station, there is a FTV bus which goes towards Arcugnano – Perarolo.

By plane

The nearest airports are:
- Verona -Villafranca “Valerio Catullo” Airport (50km)
- Treviso “Antonio Canova” Airport (60km)
- Venice “Marco Polo” Airport (70km).
