The Masseria Bosco di Makyva is found in Borgagne in the heart of Salento nestled among olive trees on an estate measuring 25 hectares.
Located just 3km from the sea, it is the perfect place to spend a relaxing holiday in direct contact with nature.
The Masseria which was once part of a hunting residence built in the late 19th century. Its renovation was undertaken by the creative architect Fabio Mello, who expertly combined historic fascination with modern hospitality standards.
Guests have access to 30 elegant guest rooms, four suites, a lovely outdoor swimming pool and a welcoming typical restaurant where guests can enjoy delicious local specialities.
Those who enjoy nature can take bicycle trips through the lovely surrounding countryside or go for a calm walk through the woods on the estate.
Just a few kilometres away, guests have access to an 18 hole golf course and areas where they can go kite surfing, wind surfing, horseback riding, hiking, paragliding and sailing.

Archaeological and tourist trips can be arranged, as well as boat trips.

The restaurant has spacious windows that overlook the swimming pool and serves delicious traditional Italian cuisine along with typical Salento recipes, such as broccoli, eggplant or zucchini parmigiana, and focaccia full of vegetables.

In the summer breakfast is served outdoors.

The bar serves delicious cocktails and drinks that guests can enjoy next to the swimming pool.

By car

Take the A14 Adriatica motorway to Bari; take the Bari – Brindisi – Lecce expressway, take the Tangenziale Est exit, then from the Tangenziale, take the Melendugno – Vernole exit.
Follow the directions for Borgagne, go through the small centre of Borgagne and continue towards Otranto, Sant'Andrea, Torre dell’Orso.
The signs for Masseria Bosco di Makyva are located after about 1.6km on the right.

By train

From Lecce Station, take the FSE bus to Borgagne.

By plane

The local airport is Brindisi – Casale Airport (70km away).
