Hotel Galles is set in a strategic position in the heart of Genoa: it has a beautiful view of the sea and overlooks the port and the splendid Piazza del Principe in front of the Ponte dei Mille port of embarkation for cruise ships and ferries.
The hotel is about 600 m. from the aquarium and 900 m. from the “Magazzini del Cotone” congress centre.
The hotel is close to Porta Principe train station and to the neighbouring underground station.
The “Genova-ovest” motorway junction is about 1 km away and towards the east the same distance separates the hotel from the international exhibition centre.

Hotel Galles is an excellent base for guests wishing to visit the old part of Genoa as well as the interesting sea museum opened in July 2004.

The hotel has some parking places next to it and a garage that is attended 24 hours a day.

How to reach Msn Hotel Galles

By car
From the A7 motorway take the “Genova Ovest” exit. Off the motorway, follow the signs for the city centre. When you arrive at the port, after a while you will see “Palazzo del Principe Doria” with its gardens on the left and the harbour station on the right. Hotel Galles is immediately after on the left hand side.

By train
Genoa “Principe” station. From the main doors we recommend that you walk a few metres along Via Doria. When you arrive in front of “Palazzo del Principe”, turn left into the large square. You have arrived. However, if you come out from the underground, you will find yourselves right in the square where Hotel Galles is located.

By air
Genoa airport is a few kilometres from the hotel. It can be reached in a quarter of an hour in normal traffic conditions. A public bus service is also available that connects the hotel to the airport (Volabus 100).

By ship
The Ponte dei Mille harbour station is in front of Hotel Galles. If you arrive on or need to take a ferry, the port of embarkation is one/two stops by bus or on the underground.
