The Picone B&B is situated in the heart of Catania, on the first floor of a period building dating back to the early 1900's.
Situated in the very central Via Umberto I, a short walk from the renowned Via Etnea, the Picone B&B benefits from excellent transport connections to the sea front, the train station and Catania International Airport. Mount Etna is 30 minutes drive away.
The bright B&B has 4 independent rooms (3 doubles and 1 triple) as well as a welcoming dining room with a small adjacent kitchen where breakfast is served.
The B&B features a wireless Internet connection and modern facilities to meet the needs of business and leisure clients alike visiting Catania.

During the Summer, the Picone Bed & Breakfast accepts bookings for a minimum of 2 nights only.

The Picone B&B is situated in a completely restructured apartment on the first floor of a period building dating back to the early 1900's.
The 4 independent rooms - of which 3 are doubles and 1 triple - feature a colour television, free Wireless Internet connection and air conditioning.
All the rooms have a private balcony.

Description of Bar/Restaurant Facilities

Breakfast is served in the breakfast room from 8:00 to 10:30 and includes a selection of traditional, Sicilian cakes.
Outside of these times, breakfast can be enjoyed at the nearby bar which offers discounts for hotel guests - breakfast includes coffee and a brioche.

Other information about the location

By car

From the A18 Messina - Catania motorway, take the Catania - San Gregorio road and then exit for Catania.
Continue for 5km then take Via Vincenzio Giuffrida, continue straight on for 1.6km until you reach Via Umberto I.
The B&B is situated at number 104.

By train

From Catania train station, take one of buses 1-4 to the "Via Etnea - Villa Bellini" stop. Then walk the length of Via Umberto I for around 300 metres until you reach number 104.

By plane

From Catania - Fontanarossa International Airport, take bus 457 to the "Villa Bellini" stop.
