Take Bologna's Tangenziale (ringroad), take the exit for San Lazzaro di Savena (13), bear right towards Complanare Sud / SP28, follow signs for Idice / SP28 / Croce dell'Idice / complanare Sud, take the exit for Idice, at the roundabout take the third exit for Via Montanara / SP28 - 2.3km away, at the next roundabout take the third exit for Via Emilia / SS9 towards Ozzano.

Take the first turning on the right in to Via Imelda Lambertin; Relais Villa Valfiore is at the end of the road on the right.

By train

From San Lazzaro di Savena station, take bus 916 or 918 to Idice Pedagna, or line 101 or 94 to Marescotta.
