General Description
Villa La Malva is an hotel that was recently built on the hill of Artimino only 15km away from Florence. This beautiful location is on one of the characteristic Tuscan hilltops that overlooks the Arno valley next to the Barco Reale Mediceo hunting reserve.
Built in traditional Tuscan style with stone entrance ways and chestnut wooden beams, the hotel has spacious and luminous rooms characterised by a friendly atmosphere and personal service at unbeatable prices.
Guests have access to a lovely view of the valley from most of the guest rooms and from the spacious terrace on the top floor.

Restaurant and bar
The reception, the breakfast room and the bar are all located on the top floor; the large windows provide a breathtaking view of the sunrise over the hilltops, the beautiful valley surrounded by pine trees and cypress trees, and the characteristic village of Poggio alla Malva.
The reception desk sells local wine, grappa, vin santo, olive oil and homemade jam.
A Lume di Candela country tavern was inaugurated in April 2009 and is open 3-4 nights a week serving typical Tuscan cuisine.

- Take the A1 Autostrada del Sole motorway to the Firenze – Scandicci exit. Head along the FI/PI/LI expressway to the Lastra a Signa exit. Head towards Signa, then towards Stazione Ferroviaria di Carmignano, then Poggio alla Malva.
Alternatively, from the Montelupo Fiorentino exit, take the SS67 state road towards Artimino - Poggio alla Malva.
- Take the A11 motorway to the Prato Est exit. Head along the SS325 state road and the SS66 state road towards Poggio a Caiano, Comeana, Stazione Ferroviaria di Carmignano, and then Poggio alla Malva.
