Reviews Albergo Anna - Perugia

My husband and I enjoyed our stay at Albergo Anna.

It is very conveniently sited, a short walk along the street up to the main thoroughfare of Perugia, which has cafes, public buildings, cathedral and elegant shops. The Albergo is on the second floor of an old building, which is what we enjoy, why go somewhere modern and shiny when we are visiting an ancient Italian town?

We found the Guide Book correct when it said "it is like going to visit the home of an elderly great aunt, old fashioned and with lots of small decorations around the place".

We liked the Proprietor, Emma, and her husband, who have obviously been there for many years, they were kind and helpful. This is not the place for those who want glamour and luxury. The bedroom and bathroom were immaculately clean and comfortable. Crisp sheets, a view from the windows, small but suitable bathroom, newly tiled. Simple breakfast.

There is no elevator, and the Hotel Anna is located on the fourth floor.

Customers need to know that in advance.

We had a fantastic stay at Hotel Anna. The owners were a delight and made us so comfortable. The Hotel is wonderfully quirky full of antiques and littel touches - you could stay there a week and there would still be new things to see. Right in the middle of town so you could just walk out to the sights, restaurants etc - a wonderful stay

Lovely hotel. Well situated. Very helpful and friendly gentleman apparently runs the place.
