Our stay at La Serra Sul Mare was one of the highlights of our Italy vacation. The rooms are stunning, and the view from our private balcony was breathtaking. We had expected a larger inn, but it only has four rooms, which provided an intimate and personal atmosphere. The breakfast was unbelievably good (and large!), with dish after dish brought to our table. The only hiccup we had was upon arrival: we did not receive the email from the hotel that explained that a taxi would pick us up from the train station, so we tried to walk the distance (on a VERY steep incline) to the hotel. Fortunately, a taxi driver stopped to get us and took us to the inn free of charge (included in our room rate). That said, it was a beautifully memorable stay, and we hope to one day return with friends.
My partner and I were both very impressed with this bed and breakfast hotel. The view was amazing and the complementary bus service down to the town was very handy.
The breakfast provided in the morning was one of the best breakfasts we had in Europe!

We had a lovely stay here and the ladies were very helpful. The taxi service was great but necessary. Breakfasts were divine and they even set up a table in our room with a breakfast for our last morning as we were leaving very early. Highly recommend if you want a nice quiet location.
Lovely situation and magnificent breakfast on terrace overlooking the sea. We were happy to walk down to the town about 10-15 minutes, and taxi service coming back up the hill worked very well.
A most perfect accom 1km from Monterossa which was perfect as it was so quiet and majestic sea views. Also free use of taxi service from La Serra sul Mare to Monterossa anytime until 12mn even to duck down and pick up pizza and wine for dinner to enjoy on the balcony. Fanny's breakfasts were amazing and spoiled us for the rest of our trip and surficed us till dinner.

La Serra Sul Mare was just amazing. The Lady who looked after us was just amazing. The little touches that she afforded us each day made it feel like we were in heaven.
The food was unsurpassed and would qaulify for more than a five start hotel in the uniquiness. The atmosphere and the scenery was breathtaking. Each morning sitting at the breakfast table was like a dream. We would come back again and again. I come from a family of unbelievable cooks and found the food to be incredible.

Amazing place, the view from the window was perfect and as for the breakfast.... I have never eaten so much and it kept coming! really enjoyed this stay and would recommend this place to anyone.
