Castelmola is a wonderful place and must be seen in Sicily. The way to Castelmola seemed not easy for the first time, but the surroundings, the view and the village itself were wonderful! It's nice, that there was free parking possibility for guests of the villa Regina. The staff was friendly and we had a good time with my family. I recommend to take the room with sea view. -)
My wife and I had an excellent experience here during our stay. Great cost-effectiveness, as recommended by Michelin tour guide. Great staff, offered us a warm "welcome-kit" with champagne, a huge natural rose, biscuits, and Mandorla (typical wine). Stunning views of Taormina. We highly recommend it; although there is easy transportation to reach the hotel from Taormina, it'll be easier if you are driving.
L'hotel è situato in un posto stupendo con una vista panoramica mozzafiato i titolari dell'hotel sono stati molto ospitali anche il paesino e molto curato ed e abbastanza suggestivo l'unica nota negativa e stata la ristorazione nei ristoranti limitrofi all'hotel si mangia male e si spende abbastanza e poi i collegamenti per scendere al mare sono praticamente inesistenti, pensa che per andare al mare bisogna prendere una corriera che ti porta da Castelmola a Taormina centro e poi da Taormina centro che dista 4 chilometri dal mare bisogna prendere l'autobus oppure la funivia, insomma in buona sostanza per andare al mare ci inpieghi 2 ore andata e 2 ore al ritorno poi il mare faceva shifo era sporchissimo e vi erano tante meduse specie proprio a isola bella (Taormina la perla del sud) del resto tutto bene
Accès difficile, problème de parking: impossible à proximité d el'hotel situé en zone escarpée, parking payant proposé par l'hotel, sinon parking payant municipal à 500m en contrebas. Déchrgement des bagages difficile.
Accueil sympatique, produits régionaux proposés à la vente au restaurant/bar attenant, petit déjeuner plus élaboré qu'ailleurs (fruits frais, brioches...)
Un peu cher cependant, mais c'est l'italie!!!
