The Bed and Breakfast Marzocco is a new hotel found in a late 19th century building that opened in January 2007. Renovated along the original lines, it features frescoed ceilings, decorated grit floorings, traditionally installed parquet, charming lighting, stylish décor, and numerous other details making for a pleasant and comfortable stay surrounded by the art of Florence.

An ideal choice for those in town on business or leisure, the bed and breakfast is found in a convenient location close to the Fortezza da Basso, Palazzo dei Congressi, Santa Maria Novella railway station, the Arno riverbanks, the Ponte Vecchio, the Uffizi Gallery, the Accademia, Piazza della Signoria, the Duomo, and Parco delle Cascine with its athletic facilities and special events.

With a capacity of 20 people, the room is equipped with ADSL internet, a telephone, and a 40” LCD satellite television that can be set up for video conferences.

By car

Take the A1 Milano – Roma motorway to the Firenze Sud exit. Continue along the connecting road to the Arno embankment. Turn onto Viale Amendola, cross Piazza Beccaria and turn onto Viale Gramsci until reaching Piazza Donatello. Head along Viale Matteotti and upon reaching Piazza della Libertà, keep the city entrance to the left until turning on Via Lorenzo il Magnifico towards Fortezza da Basso. Turn right, cross the boulevard and continue to Viale Strozzi. Head through the tunnel to the left, and after two traffic lights, turn right onto Via Guido Monaco.
Keep to the right and continue until reaching Viale Fratelli Rosselli, then turn right onto the access road.

By train

From Santa Maria Novella Station, exit to the right (facing away from the trains), turn right and take Via Luigi Alamanni. Turn left onto Viale Fratelli Rosselli.

By plane

From Florence Amerigo Vespucci Airport, take a taxi or the shuttle bus to the railway station.
