Lipari can be reached by ferry or by hydrofoil from the following ports:
- port of Milazzo (1 hour by hydrofoil; 2 hours by ferry);
- port of Messina (1 hour by hydrofoil);
- port of Reggio Calabria (2 hours by hydrofoil);
- port of Palermo (3 hours by hydrofoil);
- port of Naples (4 hours by hydrofoil; 9 hours by ferry)
