By car
From the SS36 Milano – Lecco – Colico state road, take the SS38 dello Stelvio state road, which goes through Valtellina and leads directly to Passo dello Stelvio.
From Val Venosta:
Take the A22 motorway to the Bolzano Sud exit. Head along the Superstrada Merano – Bolzano expressway, then go towards Passo Resia. Upon reaching Spondigna, follow the directions for Passo Stelvio.
By train
From the Bolzano and Merano railway stations, go the station of Spondigna and then take the bus to Prato Stelvio (the bus line to Prato Stelvio - Passo Stelvio is only available during the months of July and August).
By plane
The local airports are:
