The staff were all very nice and helpful. We were in town as a friend was doing family research, otherwise would not have gone to this city. It was in walking distance to the train station.

I was pleased with the quality of the room, which was very large, quiet and tastefully furnished. The bathroom was very nice – large and clean with an excellent shower.
I did notice, however, that the room had a strong lingering smell (peach-like scent) possibly a residue of detergent or disinfectant, or some kind of air freshener.
Overall I was impressed and would definitely recommend the hotel to others travelling to Messina.
I decided to stay at the hotel after reading reviews. The reviews were accurate in their description and I was pleased I took their advice.
