Q. How can I display the hotels available in the city that I’m interested in?
A. Just use the search box on the site’s home page: enter the location, the dates of the stay and tick the "Show Only the Hotels With Available Rooms" box

Q. How can I find the address of the hotel chosen?
A. The hotel’s address is shown in the description under the name of the hotel: any other information required will be given in the booking confirmation e-mail.

Q. How can I find out what facilities/services are offered by the hotels?
A. The facilities/services offered are listed in the “Facilities” section of the hotel description.

Q. Can an extra bed be added in the room (e.g. for my child)?
A. The hotels usually allow the addition of an extra bed: to check if the service is available and if it is free of charge (or available at an extra cost) consult the "Rooms" section of the hotel description.

Q. Where can I find directions to the hotel?
A. Directions to the hotel are given at the end of the hotel description. In the section entitled "How to find us" you will find a map showing the location of the hotel and distances from the most important points of interest (monuments, airports, stations, etc).

Q. Are the rates shown on the site per room or per person?
A. The prices quoted are for a booking for one room for one night.

Q. Are there any extra costs to be added to the booking?
A. No, there are no extra costs on top of the price indicated in the hotel description.

Q. Is breakfast included in the room rate?
A. It is specified in the hotel description if breakfast is included in the room rate or not.

Q. How can I find out what the check-in and check-out times are for the hotel chosen?
A. The check in and check out times are indicated in the hotel description in the section entitled "Terms of Stay".

Q. I will be arriving later than the check-in time specified: What should I do?
A. We suggest that you inform the hotel that you will be arriving late. The hotel telephone number is specified in the booking confirmation e-mail.

Q. How can I find out if the hotel I wish to stay at has a car park?
A. It is specified in the "Facilities" section of the hotel description if the hotel has a car park and whether it is a free service or incurs an additional charge.

Q. How can I find out if the hotel offers transport services (exhibition centre/station/airport)?
A. It is specified in the "Facilities" section of the hotel description if the hotel offers transport services.

Q. Do I need to pay for my stay in advance?
A. No. Payment is always carried out at the hotel, except for unique cases where it is explicitly stated in the terms and conditions that payment must be made in advance.

Q. Why are my credit card details required?
A. Your credit card details are only requested as a guarantee in case you fail to turn up at the hotel (no show) and in the event of cancellation outside of the terms defined by the hotel (cancellation policy). The stay is paid for in the hotel: InItalia will never charge any amount to your credit card.

Q. Is my credit card information safe?
A. InItalia uses a safe, protected channel for the transmission of confidential information: your information is not recorded on our servers and will be given to the company that manages the booking with the hotel in an encrypted form using a safe method (SSL protected connection).

Q. What type of credit card can I use?
A. Credit cards accepted by the hotel are indicated at the end of the hotel description in the section entitled "Terms of Stay".

Q. How can I check that my booking has been confirmed?
A. You will be sent a booking confirmation e-mail containing all details of the room booked, the hotel’s address, contact details and the booking code.

Q. I haven’t received a booking confirmation e-mail: What should I do?
A. This has been known to occur when the user’s e-mail address has not been entered correctly or when the e-mail is automatically transferred to a spam directory. We advise you to check the spam directory first.

Q. How can I cancel my booking?
A. To cancel a booking you must go to the section entitled Booking Area and enter the code and password contained in the booking confirmation e-mail. If the cancellation is made within the time limit defined by the hotel no penalty fee will be charged. Otherwise, you will have to pay the cancellation fee indicated in the "Terms of Stay" section of the hotel description for the hotel chosen.

Q. How can I check that my booking has been cancelled?
A. After cancelling the booking in the restricted area of our portal, you will receive an e-mail confirming the booking cancellation.

Q. How much does it cost to cancel a booking?
A. If the cancellation is made within the time limit defined by the hotel, the cancellation is free of charge, if not a cancellation fee will be charged (as defined by the hotel). You can find this information in the “Terms of Stay” section of the hotel description under the heading "Cancellation Policy".
This section specifies both the time limit within which no cancellation fee applies, and the cancellation fee that will be charged in the event of cancellation outside of the defined time limit.

Q. How do I know if a hotel is gay friendly?
A. Gay friendly hotels can be selected from the drop-down menu found on the left of the page for any hotel. For a complete list of these hotels and for easy consultation, we have made a special section of Gay Friendly Hotels grouped by region.

Q. How do I know if a hotel is wheelchair accessible?
A. On the page for each location, a “Wheelchair Accessible Hotels” link is found on the left. Click on this link to view a list of wheelchair accessible hotels in the location you wish to visit.
Furthermore, all the hotels on our website have a section listing the services they offer. It will be mentioned here if the hotel has wheelchair accessible guest rooms and any architectural barriers.

Q. How do I know if a hotel allows pets?
A. Pet friendly hotels can be selected from the drop-down menu found on the left of the page for any location. The hotels also mention if they allow pets in the section listing their services.
