The Albergo Casalta is found in the heart of Strove, a small village of Lombard origins, which over time has become a point of passage for pilgrims on Via Francigena.
With 10 comfortable and elegant guest rooms, this family-run hotel reflects the simplicity and lifestyle of another time.
The spacious lobby has wireless internet access and a restaurant, providing a peaceful atmosphere where guests can relax in good company.
Guests can easily reach the main tourist centres in the area and the characteristic towns of Chianti.
Those who enjoy sports can go hiking, biking, play tennis or golf, or go horseback riding.
A swimming pool surrounded by nature offers special rates for hotel guests and is located around 300m away from the hotel.

All of the guest rooms are decorated with period furnishings chosen according to rural Tuscan tradition and are equipped with bathroom linens, a double bed or two single beds, a colour television, a direct dial telephone, a minibar, a fan, heating, telephone wakeup call service, daily cleaning service and an en suite bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer.
Guest rooms with air conditioning are available upon request.

Restauracja i Bar
Lazzaro and Barbara Cimadoro have managed the Ristorante Casalta since 1993. Lazzaro is the chef, the soul of the kitchen, while Barbara takes care of guest hospitality and service in the dining room.
The restaurant opens onto a small furnished courtyard during the summer, while the indoor dining room can be divided into three smaller rooms (with a small canteen) that can comfortably accommodate up to 40 people.
The kitchen serves delicious regional cuisine prepared according to innovative recipes, all of which are accompanied by an extensive list of fine wines.
The Chef prepares traditional recipes with creativity using high quality seasonal produce.
Cooking classes for individuals and groups are available upon request.

Keep to the left and after around 30m turn right towards Strove. Continue for 1km, turn left again towards Strove and continue for around 3km until reaching the hotel.
From Milano / Bologna:
Take the A1 Autostrada del Sole motorway to the Firenze - Impruneta exit. Head along the Superstrada Siena - Firenze expressway to the Monteriggioni exit.
Keep to the right and after around 30m, turn right towards Strove. Continue for 1km, turn left towards Strove and continue for around 3km until reaching the hotel.
