Ogólny Opis Hotelu
Grotta Azzurra is a historical hotel of Norcia, situated in a side road of the Boulevard, just 10 meters from the main square.
Owned by the Bianconi family, the hotel boasts a long experience within the hospitality industry dating back to 1850, when, as an inn, it represented an important base for travelers and visitors passing through the town.
The family atmosphere perfectly intertwines with the preciousness and style of the surroundings, providing guests with a pleasurable feeling that derives from a warm welcome. The beautiful 16th century halls with cross vaults are the location of the renowned Hotel Restaurant; the rooms are all unique and provide functionality and quality services.
The hotel has been restored respecting its original architectural features, preserving the charm and atmosphere of bygone days.

The hotel offers rooms varying in style and furnishings, some with spa, others with a small panoramic balcony overlooking the Sibillini Mountains or the roofs towards the San Francesco auditorium.
After careful restoration, the rooms have been equipped with air conditioning, whilst the bathrooms have been completely restructured.
Deluxe rooms, in a 17th century style, offer the warm atmosphere of bygone days.

In the ‘Granaro del Monte’ restaurant, directly managed by the experienced Bianconi family, guests may discover the most wholesome flavors of the ancient Norcia tradition through a rich à la carte menu based on local dishes, often imaginatively reinvented by the chefs.
Some of the most renowned dishes offered are the Black Truffle Tagliolini, the spelt soup, the Truffle Castellana-style risotto, the boar tagliatelle, the sliced meat with Sagrantino wine, the typical dish, the 'Quarrymen' fillet with truffle, and for the sweet tooth the ricotta-cheese and lentil pie and the Amaretto Spumone (ice cream).
