Hotel Il Piccolo Castello, Monteriggioni

Ristorante La Ducareccia is named after the legendary female figure, protector of the military camps defending the Castle of Monteriggioni.

The Ducareccia distributed water (now a fountain), controlled its purity and took care of vegetables with medicinal herbs.

In a charming and unique atmosphere, guests can sample historic recipes of local tradition prepared using fresh, seasonal produce.

During the summer outdoor buffets are held overlooking the castle.

The Hotel Il Piccolo Castello has four modern rooms and spacious outdoor areas for exhibitions or team building exercises.

The main room, Fantastici, is available for high level meetings up to 180 people and can be subdivided into four different sized rooms. It is soundproof and completely autonomous with a private entrance and natural lighting.

The small room, Limonaia, can comfortably accommodate up to 25 people; the multi-purpose room, Giardino D’Inverno, can comfortably accommodate up to 120 people; and Limonaia 2 can accommodate up to 50 people.

The cost of the room includes basic equipment:

a water cooler for participants, water on the speaker’s table, an overhead projector, a flip chart, a sound system with a microphone and a projection screen.

Additional equipment available upon request: screen, video projector, computer, booth for simultaneous translation and microphones.

The restaurant is an important part of the facilities; coffee breaks, lunch buffets and theme dinners can be organised upon request.

Guests are well attended to throughout any event.

By car

From the A1 Autostrada del Sole motorway, take the Firenze – Certosa exit (from the north) or the Valdichiana exit (from the south). Continue along the Raccordo Autostradale Firenze – Siena connecting road (4-lane expressway) until reaching the Monteriggioni exit. Follow the directions for town and turn right onto Strada Colligiana.

By train

From the Siena or Florence railway station, transportation is available to the hotel with hired car/authorized taxi.

By plane
