The Hotel Umbria is found in the historic centre of Perugia on a small side street parallel to Corso Vannucci near the most famous monuments, museums and stores in the city.
With excellent public transit connections, the hotel is just a few metres away from the escalator that leads to the bus terminal in Piazza Partigiani and is also an ideal base from which to explore Assisi, Todi, Orvieto and Gubbio.
The Perugia-Fontivegge railway station is located around a 10 minute bus ride away; guests arriving by car can access the historic centre and park in the immediate vicinity of the hotel.
Piazza Partigiani also has one of the largest monitored parking lots in the city (a 1 day tourist ticket costs € 8.90).

From the north:
Take the A1 Autostrada del Sole motorway to the Valdichiana exit; head along the SS204 state road until reaching Perugia.
From the south:
Take the A1 Autostrada del Sole motorway to the Orte exit; head along the SS204 state road towards Terni and then along the E45 motorway towards Perugia.
From the Adriatic Coast:
Take the A14 Adriatica motorway to the Cesena exit; head along the E45 motorway towards Città di Castello, and then to Perugia.
Upon reaching Perugia, head towards Centro Storico / Università per Stranieri, until reaching Piazza Grimana. From Piazza Grimana, continue along Via C. Battisti (entering into the Zona a Traffico Limitato – Limited Traffic Area), with Arco Etrusco on the left. Go to Piazza Cavallotti, turn onto Via della Stella, then follow the directions for Hotel Umbria. Take Via della Cupa until reaching the last sign for the hotel.
By train
The Perugia – Fontivegge railway station is located only 10 minutes away by bus or minimetro.
By plane
From Umbria Perugia – Sant'Egidio International Airport, a shuttle service is available with departures every 30 minutes to Piazza Italia (a 5 minute walk from the hotel).
