Il Cantico della Natura, Montesperello

The intimate restaurant, with a corner bar, serves typical Umbrian dishes using natural and organic farm produce.

Courses are held on preparation of the products and traditional cooking.

The holiday farm has a meeting room with wood flooring and technological equipment accommodating up to 50 people and two rooms accommodating 20 and 10 people respectively

By car

A1 “Autostrada del Sole” motorway, “Orte” exit; take the E45 clearway to Perugia and continue past the Perugia exit on the 4-lane section towards “Firenze- Lago Trasimeno”, leaving at the “Magione” exit.

Alternatively: A1 "Autostrada del Sole" motorway, “Valdichiana – Bettolle” exit. Take the 4-lane section towards Perugia, leaving at the “Magione” exit.

From Bologna:

A1 "Autostrada del Sole" motorway towards Florence and then towards Rome, leaving at the “Valdichiana – Bettolle” exit. Take the 4-lane section towards Perugia, leaving at the “Magione” exit

Alternatively: proceed on the motorway towards Ancona, leaving at the “Cesena Nord” exit and then take the E45 clearway to Perugia. Continue past Perugia on the 4-lane section towards “Firenze - Lago Trasimeno”, leaving at the “Magione” exit.

From the “Magione” motorway exit, turn right towards Magione town centre and after about 1 km turn left at the first crossroads towards Chiusi Sant'Arcangelo. After about 1 km, after the railway bridge, turn left following the signs for Montesperello. After a further 2 km, you will go past the first sign on the right indicating the town of Montesperello and an uphill road leading to the old village. Continue on the main road for about 1 km until you reach the second sign for Montesperello and for Cantico della Natura, with a small road leading to the old village. When you reach an open space with a cement platform bordered by some historic buildings, facing the old abandoned church, take the unpaved road to the left signposted to the holiday farm, which leads to the small cemetery of Montesperello. Turn right before the cemetery into a road leading into the wood. Continue straight on for about 1 km to Cantico della Natura.

By train

Magione train station is on the Perugia – Florence interregional line and is about 3 km away from the holiday farm. A shuttle service is available on request.

By air

Perugia – Sant'Egidio international airport of Umbria, with daily flights to Milan and Rome, is 30 km away from Cantico della Natura, which can be reached in a 20-minute taxi ride.
