From Rome:

Take the A24 Roma – L'Aquila motorway to the Pescina exit. Continue along the SS83 Marsicana state road going through the towns of Venere, Gioia dei Marsi and Gioia Vecchio. You will arrive in Pescasseroli going through Passo del Diavolo.

From Pescara:

Take the A25 Roma – Pescara motorway to the Pescina exit. Continue along the SS83 Marsicana state road going through the towns of Venere, Gioia dei Marsi and Gioia Vecchio. You will arrive in Pescasseroli going through Passo del Diavolo.

From Naples:

Take the A1 Napoli – Roma del Sole motorway to the Caianello exit. Take the SS85 state road towards Venafro, and then head along the SS83 state road towards Alfedena going through Alta Valle del Sangro until reaching Barrea (going along the lake). Head towards Villetta Barrea, Opi, and Pescasseroli.

Alternatively, the motorway can be taken to the Cassino tollbooth, and the cross Forca d'Acero heading towards Opi and Pescasseroli.

By train

From the Avezzano train station on the Roma – Pescara line, the ARPA bus can be taken to Pescasseroli.

From the Castel di Sangro train station on the Napoli – Pescara line, the ARPA bus can be taken to Pescasseroli.
