Hotel la Bussola, Capo Vaticano

Guests can choose from a carefully selected wine list including some of the best DOC (Registered Designation of Origin) wines from Calabria and the rest of Italy.

"La Bussola" hotel and restaurant won the first Red Onion Festival of Tropea, held every year in Ricadi on 13th August.

The kitchen staff have participated in some important television programmes and have received various types of prestigious awards over the years.

By car

From the north:

A3 "Salerno - Reggio Calabria" motorway, “Pizzo Calabro” exit. Proceed on the main road to Tropea - Cape Vatican. Alternatively, take the “Sant'Onofrio - Vibo Valentia” motorway exit and follow the signs for Ricadi - Cape Vatican.

From the south:

A3 "Salerno - Reggio Calabria" motorway, “Rosarno” exit. Proceed to Nicotera - Joppolo - Coccorino - Ricadi - Cape Vatican.

Alternatively, take the “Mileto” motorway exit and proceed on the SS18 road for Tropea and then on the “Strada Provinciale di Monte Poro” road; at the Zungri junction follow the signs for Spilinga, Ricadi, Cape Vatican.

By train
