A12 Motorway Genova – Livorno, take the Rosignano exit; then continue along the State Road SS Aurelia until reaching Venturina - Isola d’Elba, then continue on to Piombino Marittima.

- A1 Motorway Bologna – Firenze – Pisa - Livorno, take the Rosignano exit; then continue along the State Road SS Aurelia until reaching Venturina – Isola d’Elba, then continue on to Piombino Marittima.

- Firenze – Pisa – Livorno Highway, take the Firenze - Scandicci exit. Continue towards Collesalvetti and take the motorway again up to Rosignano Marittima; take the highway to Venturina - Isola d'Elba and then continue towards Piombino Marittima.

- A12 motorway Rome – Grosseto, then take the State Road SS Aurelia, take the Venturina – Isola d’Elba exit; then continue towards Piombino Marittima.

From Piombino (harbor to Elba island), two ship companies ensure transport about every hour. The travel takes about 60 minutes.

From Portoferraio continue for about 7 km towards Porto Azzurro, after going past the golf courses continue to the left towards Lacona.

By train

The arrival station for boarding the ferries is Piombino Marittima.

The ‘La Pila’ airport in Marina di Campo connects with the mainland by means of several flights during the summer, serviced by Italian and foreign companies.

From the ‘Galileo Galilei’ International airport of Pisa a shuttle bus service to Elba island is available (upon request and booking).
