Hotel Portici is located in front of Vicoforte Sanctuary, in a spectacular setting that is all the more enchanting for the numerous artistic and natural attractions offered by the surrounding territory.
The hotel has 29 rooms (sleeping up to 61 guests) equipped with all of the latest comforts and facilities guaranteeing total wellbeing for its guests, and well-equipped rooms suitable for business meetings and conferences.
Its location makes it an excellent base from which to discover artistic routes and itineraries (from the gothic frescoes of San Fiorenzo of Bastia, to Andrea Pozzo’s masterpiece), naturalistic attractions (Bossea, Dossi and Caudano Grottos, Pesio Valley Natural Park), and food-and-wine itineraries.
The ski slopes and the spa centre are just a few minutes drive away.

Caffè Portici, located next to the hotel and run by the same management, is set in a historic 19th-century building converted into a bar, ice-cream parlour and above all an excellent pastry shop that is highly qualified in the hand made production of typical local confectionery:
- “Risole”: soft parcels of puff pastry filled with apricot jam
- “Paste di meliga”: crisp long biscuits for breakfast and crisp round biscuits to accompany tea, made with stone-ground yellow maize flour
- “Amor polenta”: soft plum cake made with maize flour
- Rum or Hazelnut “Santuariesi”: ancient Cuneese chocolates covered in meringue, filled with a soft rum cream (or a Langa hazelnut cream) and coated in the finest dark chocolate.
These specialities accompany the pastry shop’s daily production of croissant, fresh miniature pastries and pralines made of the finest milk and dark chocolate.
They are all served daily with the hotel's buffet breakfast.
Guests staying in the hotel can enjoy lunch or dinner in some of the typical local restaurants at special prices.

The hotel has an agreement with the adjacent former Cistercian Monastery, now fully renovated.
Various reception rooms are available on request for congresses made up of small work groups (from 20 to 60 people) and for congresses with more than 200 participants, as there is a hall equipped with all of the latest audio conferencing and video projection equipment.
