Agriturismo Leano, Piazza Armerina

The Agriturismo Leano is found in Piazza Armerina in the heart of Sicily surrounded by green forests and olive trees at an altitude of 650m.

The resort is found in a historic 18th century farmhouse that is currently undergoing renovations and is characterised by spacious and comfortable rooms decorated in typical local style. Surrounded by the beautiful countryside created by the hills of Enna, the resort is nestled among archaeological UNESCO world heritage sites and historic medieval villages.

The Agriturismo is an important stop on any gastronomic tour of the area, ideal for those who appreciate the tastes and flavours of traditional Mediterranean cuisine. Guests can chose from a wide range of activities, including cooking classes, bicycle rides or horseback riding, hiking, guided visits of the oil mill found on the estate and the main historic and cultural sights of the area, visits to the beach and the protected marina of Acicastello, Timpa di Acireale, Calette di Santa Tecla and Basalti Colonnari di Taormina.

Special events are organised, such as La Vendemmia wine tasting, La Ricottata ricotta and cheese tasting and La Molitura olive and olive oil tasting.

The Agriturismo Leano offers guests the chance to purchase local products such as wine, fruit, vegetables and extra virgin olive oil.

The hotel has 36 guest rooms decorated in typical Sicilian style, completely renovated with terracotta floors, wooden roofs, WiFi internet access, a colour television, and an en suite marble bathroom decorated in Mediterranean colours.

The outbuilding has two suites that are spacious and comfortable, equipped with a kitchen, a living room with a fireplace, WiFi internet access, a colour television and an en suite bathroom.
